Performing Arts

Colorful  displays of cultural diversity  in music and dance have been a part of the International House experience from the early days of the Intercollegiate Cosmopolitan Club.  Herman Rottenberg’s  arrival in 1964 took this to a new level. “HR” established and oversaw the Performing Arts Foundation and, with his wife Lenore, started folk dancing performances and classes. For more than 30 years, performances by his  ALLNATIONS Dance Company  were the highlight of the annual Fall Fiesta and All Nations Celebration.
